HMI & Brand Sound
Brand sounds, welcome sounds, notifications and interface feedback. We establish the direction through sound samples, then develop the agreed list of sounds for each feature and use case.
SKYY / Services
Sound design and technical collaboration for automotive products
We work with automotive brands, HMI and UX teams, engineers and integrators to connect sound production, interaction design and spatial audio concepts with specific product experiences.

01 / Scope
We define the sound direction around the brand, vehicle features and use cases, then establish an implementation approach based on the playback platform and interface requirements.
Brand sounds, welcome sounds, notifications and interface feedback. We establish the direction through sound samples, then develop the agreed list of sounds for each feature and use case.
Soundscapes and music developed for specific vehicle features, with mood and rhythm shaped around the intended product experience.
We design sound states, parameter mappings and playback logic, build middleware projects within the agreed scope, and collaborate with client teams and integrators.
Concept development for in-car spatial audio experiences, including multichannel content, spatial behavior design and prototype validation on agreed platforms and playback systems.
02 / Collaboration
A project can start with a set of HMI sounds or soundscapes for specific features, or focus on interactive audio implementation or an immersive audio concept.
Confirm experience goals, the feature list, playback platform and client interface requirements.
Use sound samples or a concept proposal to agree on the creative direction, specifications and scope.
Create the agreed sound content, collaborate on technical work and review progress at key stages.
Check files or projects, validate them in the agreed environment and complete the handover.
SKYY coordinates the sound direction, production and audio quality, bringing in specialist partners as needed. The client and integration teams are responsible for vehicle interfaces, triggers, the runtime environment and final product validation. Responsibilities for production-vehicle software, certification and maintenance are defined separately at the start of the project.
03 / Deliverables
Audio files, projects and prototypes are selected to suit each project. Usage rights, dependencies and acceptance criteria are agreed before work begins.
Stereo or multichannel WAV files within the agreed scope, with a defined asset list, naming conventions, formats, versions and intended use cases.
Technical collaboration may include Wwise projects, event and parameter configurations, and documentation covering routing, interfaces and dependencies, as agreed.
Spatial audio projects may include a concept proposal, prototype demonstration and validation records, documenting test conditions, results and next steps.
